I designed two book covers in the Seekers book series written by Erin Hunter. My goal was to create a strong design language that would speak to the genre and tone of the book series and help readers engage with the story. In order to convey the themes of fantasy, adventure, nature and comradery I took a collage approach using natural textures, layers and hand-drawn elements. I depicted the three protagonist bears in a manner that would allude to adventure, intrigue the reader, and evoke imagination.
